ok so someone steals my credit card to buy like 5 nintendo wii games costing $250.
i call my bank to report my card missing, and ask them to take off those funds.
then the thief go sell the games off for cash at gamestop.
when they sell games at gamestop they need to show ID and give their address, phone number etc.

so from the games they sold, would it be possible to find them?
like would a barcode on the game tell the gamestop store that is was a fraud-bought game, and they call the police to catch the guy?

i know that this is identity theft and fraud but as grandparents basically have no rights to report this juvenile identity theft. anyone have any ideas
i have reported this to the federal trade commission but they said that in order to report this i would have to be the guardian of the children and in this case the kids guardians are the ones doing this to them. the son is right there with her and i’m afraid is very aware of what she’s doing. i have mentioned this to the sheriffs office and all they say is thats a shame

I have a felony for Bank Fraud and Identity Fraud. I am contemplating on taking the insurance exam for property and casualty, life, health, and accident. Does anyone know if the state of MO will allow me to hold the license if I pass?

I’m working on a story for my storytelling class about the issue of credit card fraud and identity theft. I’m looking for some names to call it, this is the one that I thought of: “Reality Check”

If anybody has one thats cool and powerful that’d be awesome! (and 10 points will be awarded!)

Mr. Hode asked:

After having my identity stolen five years ago, all attempts to us my identity were stopped by the institutions involved, until Washington Mutual opened a fraudulent checking, a fraudulent VISA, and a fraudulent debit card without checking any of the credit services. Is there any recourse against sloppy banking practices that ruins a fifty year old above average credit rating?
