LOVE asked:

How would I go about finding out if there is anyone using my social security # for something other than credit?
For example, all these identify theft companies seem like they will mostly protect against credit fraud. But what if someone wants to get a driver’s license under your name or apply for a job?

I’m very worried because a few months ago a lost my wallett along with my drivers license and insuance cards.

Democrats in Az have tried to stop this requirement since the beginning stating it is ****** to show ID. So they took it to 2 Judges from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court who blocked enforcement of a voter-approved Prop 200 requiring voters to show ID when registering and voting. It has been hard fought. After years of claims of voter fraud voter id finally got put on the ballot it was overwhelmingly approved by the voters in AZ.

Whats at stake? The NOV. elections here.

20,000 rejected applicants were sent multiple notices from the elections department informing them how to get their applications approved. (20,000 that did not respond back.) Johnson said she suspects the rejected applicants were not legal residents, with the ease of procuring valid identification in Arizona. “To me that says that we’ve got 20,000 that were illegal

I put a fraud alert on after seeing this talk show about identity theft where this woman lost $50k to a scammer. After placing the free 90 day alert I went to try to view my credit report but couldn’t. The fraud alert must have made it so I couldn’t. I haven’t viewed it in years. Does anyone know what I should do so that I can see my own credit report?

I just tried to get my free credit report online but all three agencies told me that “for my protection, they cannot give me my report online and I must request one through the mail.” It says I either have a Security Freeze on my credit file, an Active Duty Military or Fraud Alert, or the identification info submitted may not match the information on file. Does this mean that someone is using my identity?
I contacted Experian and they gave me another number to call and I keep getting one of those recordings that ask for your info. but I never get a real person. The number Experian gave me was to the annual credit report place.

My husband’s identity was stolen a few years back. It’s a long story but Illinois used to issue driver’s licences with social security numbers on them. The social degenerate (who by the way is an illegal alien from Mexico) who stole my husband’s drivers license has used it obtain numberous jobs which he never paid taxes on, opened credit cards, bought a car and stopped making payments, and has gotten arrested with my husbands idenity.

Amazingly, he’s been able to clear up most of the mess that the degenerate has created. However, one thing that worries me is that we have to go to Mexico next year and I’m worried that due to the identity fraud he’s going to have a hard time getting a passport and/or getting stuck in customs thus not being able to get back to into the states. My husband is Mexican, but was born in the states. But for some reason I’m afraid we’re going to have one of those “Born in East LA” type situations because of what that idiot did with my husbands identity.
Do you think that we’ll have a problem? I’m so worried about it that I really don’t even want to go. (well neither one of us really want to go but it’s for his cousin’s wedding)

I applied for something and the place where I applied sent me a letter saying that a hacker got into their system and that hacker may have gotten my social security number, address, etc. I called the major credit bureaus and put a fraud alert on my account, but is there anything else that I should do?
