30%.
Anyone know who actually did the study and its level of accuracy? That’s a frightenly massive percentage considering this does not include women who haven’t gotten pregnant from an affair (cheating), and does not include couples that are still together. This would make the number exceedingly higher.
In regards to cheating: If accurate, how does this data weigh on the idea of women’s commitment to relationships, and their truthfulness? Not saying men have a clean track record, but the idea is that men are unfaithful dogs… blah blah
Personally, i believe its about 50/50.
note: Please don’t start you answers with, “well, i don’t do it!” I am not asking anyone on here if they’ve committed fraud or cheat. Besides, I’ve read the post on here and 100% of posters on here seem to be innocent of all ill-behavior.
Pookie: yes it is high, most epidemics are even that high.
Mo: What are you talking about? Not satisfied with my what… my sources?? Do you not understand the question? That 30% stat is quoted more times in more places then i care to list. I’m not going to waste space and put 100 links on the page when only a few should do. The point isn’t wikipedia, or the PI, the point is the study, i want to know the study!
patois: Although i am not fond of extremist, feminist or anitfeminist, that name, Mike Geanoulis, has given me a better angle to look. Lots of places seem to say “Its been reported…” but don’t say who reported it. cool, thanks.
edit : I meant **most epidemics are NOT that high**
edit: and that 50/50 is about cheating, not about illegit children. Those numbers don’t sit right with me.
Mo: You are worse than a politician you know that? Everyone who’s posted so far has made some fair attempt at helping me find where that stat came from… EXCEPT you. Not a trick question.
