Now that requiring ID before voting has be declared constitutional will other states follow Indiana?
Filed Under Elections | 6 Comments
I see this ruling as a great 1st step in reducing voter fraud. Plus it’s an extremely logical ruling, when you registered as a voter you declared that you are in fact a US Citizen so how can it possibly violate a persons right to vote by requiring they prove they are who they claim to be? Can’t afford an ID? BS !!! Will prevent the poor, elderly or minorities from voting? BS!!!! In over 25 years of public service I have yet to meet a single LEGAL resident of this country who didn’t have some form of Govt issued identification. Don’t want a Government ID, great more power to you just don’t expect to be able to vote.
For those of you who don’t live in California let me share a bit of disturbing information with you. It is now policy here that you will not be asked to show identification before voting, I live here (Ca) and I think this is simply insane. Heck if I want to buy beer or tobacco I’m expected to prove I’m old enough……

If we’re going to have voter ID and proof of citizenship at the polls, whats the point in having registration?
Filed Under Elections | 12 Comments
Does it seem like they’re just layering up the red tape to discourage people from voting?
Do we really need to take ALL those steps to ensure no voter fraud?
Why don’t we just have no voter registration, and just show up on election day, photo ID in hand?
Is voting a right or a priviledge?
And what about those electronic voting machines that nobody is talking about?
Ok how about this, to avoid voting more than once… we have computers now, so this would be real easy.
Show up at the polls and show them your photo ID, they type the name, or maybe even DL# into a database. If that person has showed up to vote before, you can’t vote, and maybe get arrested.
That way you ensure you get to vote only once, and are carding people, and the right wingers are happy because people might get arrested, everyone wins!

When I first heard that Texans mail in their ballot I wondered how they could prevent fraud in such a process. Typically there are candidates from both sides present during a primary or cuscus to ensure that fraud is reduced, and there are police present as well. I read up on it and it appears that Texas is having voting fraud issues with mail in ballots which include cases involving city councilors. Can someone explain why it would not be extremely easy for anyone to committ voting fraud if all ballots are mailed in? I don’t understand it.

Do you believe that photo ID should be required at the polling place in order to vote?
Filed Under Elections | 25 Comments
Today the Supreme Court ruled that the Indiana law that requires photo ID in order to vote, is indeed constitutional. What is amazing to me is why that law got questioned in the first place. In a country with over 20 million illegal aliens, and charges of voter fraud in the last two presidential elections, doesn’t this law make perfect sense to everyone. The only people who could possibly be against this law would be people who want to cheat in elections. I cant understand why the dicision was 6 to 3. why wasn’t it unanomous?
What do you think?

Why did Obama give 8000,000.00 to a group thats been convicted of voter fraud ?

So Obama has now given 800,000.00 to ACORN, a group that has members in prison for voter fraud and even more under indictment for the same. He got caught and now has to “Ammend” his financial reports.
I guess this wasnt the ACORN he thought he knew right?

Two major networks broke story’s today on voter Registration fraud
in major dem strongholds in the State of Ala. Is this how the DNC
expects his handlers to run a fair and balanced election. Sounds
Like a Chicago political Machine trick. Good ole Nobama. What you
think America are we going to let this continue around the country.
Time for Voters Registration card, Valid state Photo ID. Or DL showing
current address, and what polling spot your to be at.
If your that lazy you need a link when all
you have to do is google ABC or Fox.
You don’t need to be voting , you need
an attendent.

Supreme Court says it’s OK to require voters to show ID. Will this “disenfranchise” older voters?

There have been many reports of voter fraud each election. This includes people voting when they are not able to vote.
Is this a good ruling or will it “deter poor, older and minority voters from casting ballots?”
BTW, have you ever been asked to show ID when you voted?
I have been voting since 1975. Recently the only reason I show ID is to help the little old lady/man find my name in their ledger. They never ask for it. The “ID” I show is my sample ballot! I’m sure there are people voting that shouldn’t be. It is easy to buy a fake DL (I’ve heard).
I live in San Diego County (CA - the land of fruits and nuts)!
I’m a nut!

Why are they taking so long to finish the vote count in Indiana?
Filed Under Elections | 11 Comments
The clinton people are upset and thinking voter fraud, even with the new law about having to have an id. Could this mean they are busing people around to the other voting places that the judge ordered to stay open. is this ‘what goes around comes around”?

Should picture ID be required when you vote?
Filed Under Elections | 30 Comments
To me - without a doubt. I just voted. Walked in, gave my name & voted. No check at all. I couldve been Zatar from Mars. Or I couldve gone out, put on a mustache & come back in & vote under any of many names of friends & acquaintances. I think the possibility for fraud is overwhelming.
Im in Jersey.

Is the answer to voter fraud this simple?
Filed Under Elections | 3 Comments
Simply require every voter to enter his/her Social Security number prior to voting…one social security number = one vote..oh yeah…and let’s not forget the ID so that those that think they can use a dead person’s SSN are arrested and prosecuted.
