Now that requiring ID before voting has be declared constitutional will other states follow Indiana?

I see this ruling as a great 1st step in reducing voter fraud. Plus it’s an extremely logical ruling, when you registered as a voter you declared that you are in fact a US Citizen so how can it possibly violate a persons right to vote by requiring they prove they are who they claim to be? Can’t afford an ID? BS !!! Will prevent the poor, elderly or minorities from voting? BS!!!! In over 25 years of public service I have yet to meet a single LEGAL resident of this country who didn’t have some form of Govt issued identification. Don’t want a Government ID, great more power to you just don’t expect to be able to vote.
For those of you who don’t live in California let me share a bit of disturbing information with you. It is now policy here that you will not be asked to show identification before voting, I live here (Ca) and I think this is simply insane. Heck if I want to buy beer or tobacco I’m expected to prove I’m old enough……

yes they will.
Tamara
They should ..Do you know how many illegals actually vote because they have false identification…
Pearl
Showing ID before you vote is not too much to ask. Every state should have this policy.
Theresa
Indiana has had this rule for 2 years and it works effectively.

I believe that there are even free photo IDs available, so even those who say they can’t afford it have no excuse.
Marlene
I certainly hope so, it will help with voter fraud.
Theresa
All the states ought to, it is 21st Century and America is far behind compared to many other countries where elections are held at frequent intervals!

I live in FL and have always had to show ID before voting, and have never heard anyone complain about it, most people have one.

In KY, a photo ID is required to vote. Always has been since I started voting. This will be my 2nd Presidental election, but in my county, I’ve voted like a thousand times for stuff. It’s always been required. A lot of states already had this into law.

I live in Georgia and they have always had this rule. I don’t think it is unconstitutional to have to present your identification when you vote. And to those who say they can’t afford it, that seems hard to believe since my little brother (who is 28, not so little, lol) is the brokest person this side of creation and he has a drivers license and ID card, lol. We helped him get it, but isn’t that what families do…help each other?

Indiana has had their ID rule for over 2 years and about 20 other states have the same requirement, so it is common sense that a number of other states will now adopt the ID rules. After all, if we need picture ID to drink, drive, get a job and watch pornography, why not to vote?
